I don't know Captain Aaron Highers, or Top Notch Adventures personally, but I can write a review on their character. This morning, I went fishing with a friend and we departed from Dunlawton Boat Ramp. Unbeknownst to me I dropped my wallet at the boat ramp. Not only did my wallet contain my I.D, credit cards, and checks, it also had a substantial amount of cash in it. A short time later Captain Aaron found the wallet at the ramp while taking his charter out for the day. Captain Aaron then made several announcements on his VHF radio to identify the wallet’s owner. Once he returned to shore he then went through the wallet and found a contact number and was able to get in touch with me. I then met Captain Aaron at his house where he handed my wallet back to me, which still contained all its cash. I could not have been happier and more thankful for his good Samaritan act, and it’s a testament to Aarons true character. The next time I book a fishing charter I’ll be sure to book with Top Notch Adventures, and I hope you’ll do the same. Fish on Captain Aaron, and thanks again.

We originally booked an offshore trip, but the weather kicked up, so Aaron helped us switch to a nearshore outing the night before. It worked out perfectly. We landed two sharks, then headed into the Intracoastal for a couple of hours and caught a mix of different species. Aaron even cleaned our shark and pointed us to a spot where we could have it cooked for lunch, so everyone got to try shark steak. An excellent morning on the water with Aaron.

Capt. Aaron was extremely friendly and helpful. He was very responsive during the booking process. Very knowledgeable when it came to the area we were fishing and knowing where the fish would be.

My son took my husband - for Father'sday, his brother, his girlfriend, and siblings on this charter, and they couldn't stop talking of the great time they had. Captain Aaron was very communicative and became part of the crew. Definitely will be doing again.

Couldn’t have asked for a better time out on the water. Captain Aaron was beyond impressive. I will book with him everytime we come back.

We booked a 4-hour trip, and Captain Aaron made it fantastic. It was a birthday surprise for my husband during a quick Florida getaway, and Aaron went out of his way to make it special. The ride out was full of great views, good music, and an all-around fun vibe. We caught several different species of fish and even spotted a giant sea turtle and some dolphins along the way. He also kept an eye on the weather and adjusted the trip to make sure we stayed safe and comfortable. We had a great time and will definitely book with him again!

We initially booked a 4-hour offshore trip earlier in the week, and Aaron was great about staying in touch and suggesting a better day for weather and fishing conditions. My wife and I brought our 8- and 4-year-old sons for their first time fishing from a boat, and Aaron was hands-on the whole time, helping the kids (and us!) whenever we needed it. He also made sure we didn’t miss the dolphins, sea turtles, and manatees we spotted along the way. We had a great experience and would book with Top Notch Adventures again without a second thought.

Had a great time on the water with Captain Aaron. Put us on fish in the first Cast.. and ended the day with the seven and a half foot shark on the line.

We had an amazing trip with Captain Aaron at Top Notch Adventures. From the moment we stepped on the boat, he was patient, friendly, and great with our two kids. He kept them involved and having fun the whole time. He put us on fish right away, and when we wanted to chase something bigger, he knew exactly what to do. He even took extra time to teach our son how to cast and work a lure properly, which was a highlight we’ll all remember. If you want a guide who knows the water, works hard, and genuinely cares about your experience, Captain Aaron is the one. We’re already looking forward to our next trip with him.

Great in shore trip with Capt. Aaron. We caught 25 or so fish and had a blast!

Robert Brabo, Thank you! it was my pleasure to have you guys out today. 

Aaron was awesome. We were total beginners, and he was patient with all three of us. I brought my 6-year-old nephew, who was more interested in playing with the shrimp than fishing, but Aaron handled it with a smile. Even with our lack of skill, we still came back with five nice fish. He cleaned and filleted them for us afterward, and my nephew had a blast feeding the scraps to the birds. We’ve been enjoying fresh fish for two nights now and still have more left. I know when you see a guide with a ton of great reviews it can make you wonder, but Captain Aaron absolutely earns every one of them. Highly recommend!
